Ken Henkel is a graduate of SUNY Stony Brook where he earned a BA in music performance. There he studied trumpet with Ronald Anderson. He has performed with various chamber and symphonic ensembles, including the Cross Island Brass, of which he was a founding member and has arranged and composed for, the Atlantic Wind Symphony, and the Massapequa Philharmonic. His compositional studies include working with Kent Marks and Herbert Deutsch. Mr. Henkel makes his home in Patchogue, on Long Island, N.Y.
